United Noahide Academies® - A project of A.N.I.

United Noahide Academies® (UNA)

United Noahide Academies® (UNA)

UNA is a multifaceted program to provide resources for worldwide study of the Noahide Code, and to organize and facilitate local study groups.

The foundation for these studies is provided by these landmark publications authored by Rabbi Moshe Weiner of Jerusalem:

Presently, email consultation is available for those who wish to learn at their own pace. There is no prerequisite for beginning. There are also growing numbers of affiliated local study groups, lead by Orthodox Rabbis or observant Noahides. For links to posted lessons from UNA and chapters from our books: Click here

The Director of Ask Noah International (ANI) and the United Noahide Academies® (UNA) project, Dr. Michael Schulman, is available for arranging interviews or speaking engagements. Inquiries may be placed through our Contact Us page.

ONE STUDENT’S FEEDBACK: “I know I need to take more time to study the material in-depth. The support and encouragement from your staff is highly regarded and much appreciated.”

Noahide Declarations

Our first overseeing Rabbincial authority, Rabbi J. Immanuel Schochet o.b.m., accepted and supported the following position:

A Noahide declaration is a good thing for a Noahide to make. Even though it does not confer the Ger Toshav status in our days, it does validate that the declaring Noahide has moved up to the level of a Hasid (Pious) Noahide. However, the Lubavitcher Rebbe has said that appearing before a Beis Din (Orthodox Jewish court) is not necessary except as an official validation of the declaration.

The above principles are presented in Likkutei Sichos, Vol. 26, third Sicha of Parshas Yisro, p. 132-144. They are explained in more detail by Rabbi Moshe Weiner in his Preface to Sheva Mitzvot Hashem.

As explained by our overseeing Rabbincial authority, Rabbi Moshe Weiner of Jerusalem:

A Noahide achieves the elevated spiritual status of “Hasid” (Pious) Gentile based on his or her own personal faith, along with faithful observance of the Noahide Code based on the Torah of Moses. An official Noahide Declaration is not required. If a Noahide Declaration is made, it cannot be authentically validated by a “Beis Din” (Orthodox Jewish court) unless it is made in person.

To facilitate this for Hasid Noahides around the world, we have posted two alternative texts for Noahide Declarations: (1) declared outside of the physical presence of a Beis Din, or (2) declared in the physical presence of a Beis Din. For these Declaration pages and necessary supporting information, Click here.

Since the launch of the United Noahide Academies® project at the beginning of Jan. 20’05, Noahide individuals may request to present their Noahide Declaration at a Beis Din recommended by Ask Noah. Please contact us through our Contact Us page for more information.
