Love Yourself, Stop the Violence

This video was originally published on March 1, 20’13. It tells the history behind the founding of the non-profit organization “Love Yourself, Stop the Violence”. It was founded by New York City councilman James E. Davis, may he rest in peace. The organization is dedicated to halting inner-city gun crime and drug abuse.

In this video, his brother, Geoffrey Davis, speaks about the original inspiration for this organization, which was the brothers’ childhood friendship with the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and the values he taught them.
