Thank G-d for any doctors who do their mission from G-d
The Lubavitcher Rebbe explains that doctors have a mission to heal. G-d mandates and enables this, in the Torah. Therefore, we have no question about its validity.
We learn from Exodus 21:19, “and he SHALL heal” (ורפא ירפא), to pay the fee of the doctor TO heal. Surely, doctors must not abdicate their responsibility to try in the best way to heal a sick or injured person.
From the explanation in Tur HaAroch, “Our sages derive from this wording that physicians are permitted to practice their art. Therefore, we don’t adopt attitudes that if G-d wants him to recover, he will, and if not, he will die. That is, [we must not say] that it is not up to us to intervene.”
