Proclamation for 7 Universal Principles by Indigenous Tribes

This is a video of the Director of AskNoah speaking to an historic gathering in Yucatan, Mexico (March 19, 20’25).  It was attended by chiefs and other leaders of indigenous tribes of Abya Yala (North, Central and South America). At the gathering, the leaders proclaimed their peoples’ shared commitment to the One G-d, the Hebrew Bible (Tanach), and the Seven Noahide Commandments.

In this video, Dr. Schulman addressed a gathering of the tribal chiefs and matriarchs. He stood between Chief David Taylor and the woman who was translating his talk in Spanish. He noted the clear parallels between Genesis chapters 1-9 and ancient historical traditions shared by the indigenous peoples. Dr. Schulman also explained the importance of the 7 Noahide Commandments within the purpose of mankind’s creation by the One G-d, the Creator and King of the universe.

The above poster image was the announcement for the unity gathering. The Mayans of Yucatan hosted the gathering in their homeland in Yucatan.

The Gathering and Joint Proclamation

The tribal chiefs and other attendees added their signatures to the above Joint Proclamation. There are now many additional signers. It begins with this statement: “We meet to acknowledge the understandings shared by the Anishinaabe Midew Elders, the Abya Yala – Turtle Island, the Eagle, Condor, Quetzal, Colibri, and Grandmothers Councils, the Indian Ministries Council of the Americas, and the Sages of the Jewish People, and to proclaim…” It builds on the same joint proclamation in 20’23 by chiefs of the Anishinaabe Ojibway people and Orthodox rabbinical leaders.

Rabbi Yossi Schulman, CEO and President of Unite The World, was also invited but was unable to attend.

For distribution to the attendees, Ask Noah provided copies in English of the booklet Go(o)d for You: The Divine Code of Seven Noahide Commandments, (also available for free download), and copies in Spanish of the booklet Oraciones, Bendiciones, Principios de Fe, y Servicio Divino para Noajidas (1st edition).

Several thousand people attended the main program on March 20. This is a photo from that event:
