Government should support education based on faith in G-d

The establishment of the United States of America was predicated by its founders on faith in G-d’s caring involvement. This extended even to recognition of His providential oversight in their daily lives.

After the country’s independence, it was expected that every child would be educated about this faith on a daily basis. Therefore, the Constitution they established can’t be imagined to exclude support for this type of education. That foreign idea would contradict the reason and ethical values upon which this nation was founded.
