Is Commercial Livestock Meat Kosher for Gentiles?

This recording is from the transcript of Dr. Michael Schulman’s on-line interview with Dr. Temple Grandin. [1] The interview took place on April 12, 20’02. It was part of an on-line chat hosted by the American Meat institute. [2]
In the interview, Dr. Schulman addressed points related to the Noahide prohibition of eating meat that was removed from a living animal. [3] For the purpose of clarity, this edited dialogue follows the logical flow of the discussion. Likewise, questions that were unrelated to Noahide issues have been omitted. There are in fact many more details for piously fulfilling this Noahide prohibition. You can read them on-line in Part IV of The Divine Code by Rabbi Moshe Weiner. Furthermore, USDA certified livestock meat is permissible for Gentiles to eat, based on those criteria. With the USDA government regulations, there is almost no chance of removing commercial meat from a living livestock animal.
Footnotes
[1] Dr. Temple Grandin is a leading expert on animal welfare and humane slaughter in the meat industry.
[2] The American Meat Institute (AMI) posted the text of the chat on their web site. In 20’24, AMI merged into the Meat Foundation.
[3] Another key point is that this commandment for Gentiles only applies to land mammals and birds.
