Roman “Heaven Fearers” and the 2nd Holy Temple

This short audio lesson explains a phenomenon in time of the Second Temple (350 B.C.E.-70 C.E.). In many places, there were monotheistic people known as “Heaven Fearers” who were living among the pagan Romans. As the name implies, they were Gentiles who were adhering to the one true G-d. Therefore, their spiritual loyalty was to the Jewish Sages and the Holy Temple.
