Shavuot: The Day of the Revelation at Mount Sinai

Rabbi Nachman Simon presents lessons of “Torah on one foot” about the Biblical festival of Shavuot (the “Feast of Weeks”). It’s also the day that G-d spoke the Ten Commandments:

NEW (1) G-d’s speech at Mount Sinai did not stop. In fact, it continues forever and everywhere!

(2) The Jewish Sages granted a make-up time for the short festival of Shavuot. Why? Because the scriptural command is seven days for Passover and for Sukkot. But it’s only one day for Shavous.
