Proclamation for 7 Universal Principles by Indigenous Tribes

The Director of Ask Noah International joined an historic gathering in Yucatan, Mexico, during March 18-23, 20’25.  It was attended by chiefs and other leaders of indigenous tribes in North, Central and South America. The leaders proclaimed their peoples’ shared commitment to the One G-d, the Hebrew Bible (Tanach), and the Seven Noahide Commandments.

The above poster image was the announcement for the unity gathering of tribal chiefs, leaders, and members of indigenous tribes of Abya Yala (North, Central and South America). The Mayans hosted the gathering in their homeland in Yucatan.

The Gathering and Joint Proclamation

The tribal chiefs and other attendees added their signatures to the above Joint Proclamation. There are now many additional signers. It begins with this statement: “We meet to acknowledge the understandings shared by the Anishinaabe Midew Elders, the Abya Yala – Turtle Island, the Eagle, Condor, Quetzal, Colibri, and Grandmothers Councils, the Indian Ministries Council of the Americas, and the Sages of the Jewish People, and to proclaim…” It builds on the same joint proclamation in 20’23 by chiefs of the Anishinaabe Ojibway people and Orthodox rabbinical leaders.

Ojibway Chief David Taylor sent the above invitation letter to Dr. Michael Schulman, President and Executive Director of Ask Noah International. Rabbi Yossi Schulman, CEO and President of Unite The World, was also invited but was unable to attend.

Dr. Schulman took the photo above after arriving in Cancun, Mexico, while leaving the international airport on March 17, 20’25.

In the photos above, Dr. Schulman stood between Chief David Taylor and a Spanish translator, and addressed a gathering of the tribal chiefs and matriarchs. He noted the clear parallels between Genesis chapters 1-9 and ancient historical traditions shared by the indigenous peoples. He also explained the importance of the 7 Noahide Commandments within the purpose of mankind’s creation by the One G-d, the Creator and King of the universe.

For distribution to the attendees, Ask Noah provided copies in English of the booklet Go(o)d for You: The Divine Code of Seven Noahide Commandments, (also available for free download), and copies in Spanish of the booklet Oraciones, Bendiciones, Principios de Fe, y Servicio Divino para Noajidas (1st edition).
