1-minute Lessons on Tu B’Shevat by Rabbi Nachman Simon

One-minute audio lesson on a special point that we learn from the 15th of Shevat (Tu B’Shevat in Hebrew).  This day is the “New Year’s Day” for trees, which is important for Jews, especially in Israel. (There are Jewish commandments restricting use of a tree’s fruit until it reaches a certain age after it was planted. And Jewish farmers in Israel must take tithes from the annual fruits of their trees.) But are there lessons that Noahides can learn from trees? These recordings from Rabbi Nachman Simon are shared with his permission.

In 20’24, the day of Tu B’Shevat begins at sundown on Wednesday, January 24.
